The fourth Youth Forum of DGPF will take place as part of the DGPF Annual Conference 2026. The event is aimed at students, doctoral candidates, and all young interested participants, and offers a platform for professional exchange.
Schedule and Program
Get-Together: On the evening before, there will be an informal get-together providing an opportunity for networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
Forum: On 25 March 2026 at 8:30 a.m., the fourth Youth Forum of DGPF will begin. We will start with 4 exciting presentations by Lina Budde (Fraunhofer), Nicole Habersack (Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy), a representative from the Federal Intelligence Service, and a representative from GGS GmbH. Afterwards there will be the opportunity to present posters and exchange ideas on various topics during the poster session. A coffee break will take place at the same time as the poster session. After the award ceremony, the forum will end at 12:00 p.m.

Please register via the ConfTool of the DGPF Annual Conference. www.conftool.pro/jt2026.
Registration takes place in two steps:
(1) First register as a user in ConfTool and
(2) in the second step complete the registration for the event.
You can select the Youth Forum of DGPF (Forum), or Conference + Forum.
Please register for our Youth Forum of DGPF Get-Together by indicating “NWN Vorabend Get-Together” in the comment field so that we can provide a number of participants for the reservation. ATTENTION: The “Social Gathering” in ConfTool is intended for all conference participants. Our get-together is intended for participants of the Youth Forum of DGPF forum.
Poster Presentation and Awards
Contributions for the poster session of the forum can be submitted via ConfTool after registration until 30 January 2026. The poster must be prepared in A0 portrait format. Please bring the printed poster in A0 format with you in March.
The topics are freely selectable, for example related to a bachelor’s thesis, master’s thesis, or other topics that fit professionally within the scope of DGPF or address further education. There are no requirements regarding whether results, problems, or processes are presented.
The best poster will be awarded a one-year free membership in DGPF as well as a sustainable stainless steel bottle.

Participation Fees
Youth Forum of DGPF Forum Participation is free of charge. At the pre-evening get-together, each participant pays for their own food and drinks. DGPF Annual Conference For the annual conference, a ticket for bachelor’s and master’s students costs: €60 (until 15.02.2026). This includes coffee breaks, lunch, and the ice-breaker party. Late registrations are possible.
